Remember Canny the Can? The cheery fellow who starred in Hacksaw Gaming's early hits like Stick 'Em and Stack 'Em? Well, he's back, this time joined by his feathered friend Bob the Bird in their latest adventure - Keep 'Em!
A Familiar Face in a Fresh Game
While Canny and his avian buddy Bob the Bird return, the gameplay in Keep 'Em is completely different from their previous outings in Drop 'Em and Stack 'Em. The visuals maintain a similar outdoor theme, but the lighthearted jazz is replaced by an energetic oompah soundtrack.
Keep 'Em utilizes a 6-reel, 5-row grid with a cluster pays system, offering a staggering 15,625 ways to win. Volatility is classified as medium, but expect some classic Hacksaw volatility swings. Bets range from ₱5 to ₱1,000 per spin, and a tempting feature buy menu unlocks four exciting bonus modes.
Symbols and Payouts
Low-paying symbols consist of colored blocks with letters J-A, while high-paying symbols include a snake head, a lightning bolt, a skull, and Bob the Bird himself. Interestingly, Keep 'Em forgoes the use of wild symbols.
Cash 'Em, Get 'Em, Keep 'Em Rolling
Brace yourself for an avalanche of "Em" features in Keep 'Em. Here's a breakdown of the key mechanics:
- Cash 'Em: These symbols award a prize upon collection, ranging from 1x to a staggering 1,000x your bet!
- Get 'Em: These symbols act as collectors, scooping up all the Cash symbols on the reels when they appear simultaneously. Multiple Get 'Em symbols trigger multiple collections in a single spin.
- Keep 'Em Reels: Reels 3 and 4 are the heart of the action. When Get 'Em symbols, Free Spin scatters, or Cash prizes land on these reels, the Keep 'Em feature activates, awarding 3 respins. The remaining respins are tracked by a Heart Counter. Crucially, the triggering symbols remain locked on the reels throughout the respins, offering a chance to build a massive payout with additional Get 'Em symbols, scatters, and Cash prizes. Land Heart symbols to reset the counter and extend the respin frenzy!
Level Up Your Gameplay with Bonus Features
Keep 'Em goes beyond the base game with a selection of electrifying bonus features triggered by landing Free Spin scatters:
- Keep 'Em Comin' (3 scatters): Enjoy 10 free spins with an increased chance of landing Get 'Em symbols, Free Spin scatters, and Cash prizes. More scatters during the bonus award additional free spins.
- Keep Your Friends Close… (4 scatters): This 10-free-spin feature keeps Cash prizes locked on the reels until collected by a Get 'Em symbol. Collected Cash prizes and the Get 'Em symbol are then spun out at the start of the next spin. Full rows or reels of Cash prizes are automatically collected, even without a Get 'Em symbol.
- Keep Your Canny Closer! (5 scatters): The ultimate prize! This 10-free-spin bonus builds upon "Keep Your Friends Close…" by guaranteeing 3 Cash prizes and 1 Get 'Em symbol on every spin.
Feature Buffs for the Impatient
For those who like to jump right into the action, Keep 'Em offers a feature buy menu with various options, all boasting high volatility:
- Bonus Hunt Feature Spins: Increase your chances of triggering a bonus game for 3x the bet (RTP 94.37%).
- Cantastic Feature Spins: Guarantee at least 1 Get 'Em symbol and 1 Cash prize on every spin for 40x the bet (RTP 94.29%).
- Bonus Buy Options: Purchase Keep 'Em Comin' or Keep Your Friends Close… directly for 100x and 200x your bet respectively (RTP 94.32% and 94.31%).
A Worthy Addition to Canny's Legacy
Keep 'Em is a delightful return for Canny the Can, offering a fresh take on the Cash symbol collection mechanic. The clever combination of features like the Keep 'Em reels and sticky Cash prizes keeps the excitement high, with the potential for a 10,000x max win across all game modes. It's a fun, fireable slot that lives up to Hacksaw's reputation for innovation.
