A system bet is a type of bet that involves multiple selections and covers all possible combinations. The winning combinations are calculated based on the number of selections and the system chosen. When settling system bets, winnings are calculated by multiplying the odds of all the bets in each combination by the stake. The winnings from a system bet are then calculated by adding up the winnings from all the winning combinations. The total stake for a system bet is higher than a regular accumulator bet, as it covers multiple combinations. However, it also offers higher chances of winning as it covers all possible combinations.
Let's say you place a system bet consisting of 4 selections: A, B, C, and D. You decide to do a "3 out of 4" system bet, which means that you will place 4 separate bets on all possible 3-selection accumulators that can be made from the 4 selections. The bets are as follows:
Bet 1: A, B, C
Bet 2: A, B, D
Bet 3: A, C, D
Bet 4: B, C, D
If the odds for each selection are:
A: 2.0
B: 3.0
C: 4.0
D: 5.0
And you place a stake of PHP 100 on each bet, the total stake is PHP 400 (PHP 100 x 4 bets).
Let's say that Bet 1 and Bet 3 win, and Bet 2 and Bet 4 lose. The winnings for each winning bet would be:
Bet 1: 2.0 x 3.0 x 4.0 x PHP 100 = PHP 2,400
Bet 3: 2.0 x 4.0 x 5.0 x PHP 100 = PHP 4,000
The total winnings from the system bet would be PHP 6,400 (PHP 2,400 + PHP 4,000).
Note that if all 4 bets had won, the winnings would be calculated differently as it would be a full cover bet with 4 selections.
